Program

1) If it rains, will the city tour be postponed?
No, it won’t.

2) My flight arrives at 5am on October 6th. Can I do an early check in the hotel ?
We need this information in advance, because the ECI (Early Check In) is subjected to hotel availability. The travel agency responsible for the event is Opco Tours. To contact them, please, send an e-mail to cris@opcotours.com

3) My flight leaves at 8pm on October 11th.  What time can I do the check outl?
We need this information in advance, because the LCO (Late Check Out) is subjected to hotel availability. The travel agency responsible for the event is Opco Tours. To contact them, please, send an e-mail to cris@opcotours.com

4) What shall I expect when I arrive at the airport? Will there be anyone to welcome me at the hotel?
There will be someone from the staff of Coquetel welcoming you at the airport and will guide you to the hotel. They will be wearing the t-shirt of the event. 


Accommodation

1) Can I walk from the hotel to the beach?
Yes. The hotel is exactly in front of the beach, so you just need to cross the street. 

2) What about hotel services?
Free – pool and wireless net at the reception and bar.
Non-free – business center, academy including sauna, Tennis Square and beauty hairdresser. 

3) What about hotel rooms?
The rooms available for the WPC competitors are in double occupancy in a superior category. In case you would prefer to stay alone or in a higher category, please, contact us through wpc2007@ediouro.com.br

4) How far is the hotel from the airport?
The distance is 26km, it takes about 1 hour, depending on the rush hour.


Fees and Registration

4) How will the hotel recognize me as a participant of the event during meals? Will I have any identification?
Each participant will have a credential for the event, but in any case, WPC’s members and guests will have lunch in a room specially prepared for the event.  

5) How do I know when my registration is confirmed?
After paying the invoice, please, send an e-mail with the invoice number to wpc2007@ediouro.com.br . We will check the invoice amount with our financial department and get back to you up to 72 hours.
 

Pre & Post Tours

1) Can I start and finish the pre & post tour any day I want?
Yes, for any tour out of Rio de Janeiro.  For local tours, some of the museums and expositions are closed depending on the day.

2) When should I book the pre & post tours – before the event, prior to my arrival in Brazil or can I do it during the conference?
You can do anytime you want -  just send an e-mail to cris@opcotours.com - although we suggest you to book them in advance through the website links to guarantee your tour.

3) I know that flights are not included in the pre & post tours prices, but can you handle the flight reservations also?
Yes, the travel agency responsible for the event, Opco Tours can handle the domestic flights for you. You only need to contact cris@opcotours.com
 
4) How can I reserve a specific tour and which are the most interesting in Rio?
You can send an e-mail straight to the travel agency responsible for the event, asking for a specific tour on cris@opcotours.com

5) Can I extend my stay before and/or after the event?
Yes, depending on the hotel availability. Let the travel agency know by sending them an e-mail on cris@opcotours.com

6) Do I need to reconfirm my international flight?
It is advisable. 

7) Is there subway in Rio?
Rio has a subway line but there are no stations close to the hotel. The subway is located in Copacabana, from where you can reach other places.

8) What do I need to carry to Brasil?
Brazil (specially Rio de Janeiro) is a very hot country, so you should bring light clothes.
